Queen Latifah Willing to Adopt Kids from Haiti

Queen Latifah appeared on The Today Show yesterday and talked about her work with Pure and how she would be willing to care for several Haitian kids who need homes.

The actress discussed her latest project working with Pure, which is a company that provides clean water to people all over the world who need it.

When the topic of the devastating earthquake that happened in Haiti came up the star voiced her opinion about willing to take care of several kids from the country.

Queen Latifah said, “I wanna just go down there and get some of those babies. If you got a hook up, please get me a couple of Haitian kids. It’s time. I’m ready. I got two arms, I can handle at least two. I can take a third in a backpack, and one in the front, we could just wrap it in some swaddling cloth…give me four.”

This is not the first time she has talked about adopting children. Back in 2007 when she appeared on the Ellen DeGeneres show, she told Ellen, “I want to have and adopt [kids]. I always have, ever since I was 18 I wanted a baby and I wanted to have and adopt because there are a lot of kids.”

Queen Latifah may not be a mommy yet, but it sounds like she is ready to take on the task.
