Van Morrison is Not the Father of a New Baby- Website was Hacked

It was all over the Internet after a message was posted on Van Morrison’s website that he became a daddy once again, but the singer is speaking out saying that his site was hacked and he is not the father of the baby.

The 64 year old singer is speaking out saying that he was a victim of a hacker when a message was posted on his website claiming that he and Gigi Lee welcomed a son together this week. The report has since been removed from the singer’s website but apparently the damage has been done as it was all over the news, including being reported here at Baby Chums.

The report on the website claimed that Gigi Leegave birth to George Ivan Morrison III and that he was the “spitting image of his daddy.” Van says that the report is “completely” untrue as he is still happily married to Michelle Morrison, who is the mother of two of his children.

Morrison set the record straight saying, “‘Claims were made relating to my personal life in a ’statement’ purporting to come from me. The comments which appeared on my website did not come from me. They are completely and utterly without foundation. For the avoidance of all doubt and in the interests of clarity, I am very happily married to Michelle Morrison with whom I have two wonderful children.”

The Brown Eyed Girl singer added, “I have asked my management team to carry out an immediate investigation.”

According to John Saunders, a friend of Van’s, “I spoke to Van a short while ago and I said do you even know this person (Gigi Lee)? He’s never heard the name at any stage in the past, he doesn’t know who this person is.”

John also said that the reason why it took the singer so long to issue a statement is that he is a very private person. He said, “I think he’s within his right to feel that he shouldn’t have to come out and comment on something that is completely false, but given the seriousness of this he has made this statement and he’s emphatic that this story is completely and utterly without foundation.”

Camilla’s Daughter Laura Welcomes Twin Boys

The Duchess of Cornwall becomes a grandmother again as her daughter Laura gives birth to twin boys.

Camilla is said to be “absolutely delighted” as she becomes a grandmother once again, but this time to two little boys. Her daughter Laura, who is married to Harry Lopes gave birth to twins Louis and Gus yesterday (December 30) in an undisclosed hospital in London.

A Clarence House spokesman said, “Mother and sons are doing well.”

The two little boys are the third and fourth grandchildren for Camilla. Laura and Harry have a 23 month old daughter named Eliza and Camilla’s son Tom Parker Bowles also has a 2 year old daughter.

Recently Camilla talked to the Daily Mail about her children and grandchildren. “I just love them all to bits,” she said. “Obviously I am being called on for more and more baby sitting duties but it’s wonderful. Laura was rather thrown when she was told she was having twins but we have never had them in the family before and I for one can’t wait.”

         

Rebecca Gayheart and Eric Dane: It’s a Girl

Rebecca Gayheart and her husband Eric Dane are seeing pink as it is being reported that the couple are expecting a daughter.

Rebecca, who is due in March with the couple’s first child is rumored to be having a girl. The actress confirmed the pregnancy in November and now an inside source states that the baby is in fact a girl.

In a recent interview Rebecca said, “We’ve always wanted to be parents. I think Eric is going to be a wonderful dad, and hopefully I’ll be a good mom. We’re absolutely looking forward to it.”

Rebecca and Eric, who star in the television show Grey’s Anatomy have been quite private about the pregnancy. It may have to do with the bad publicity they received right before the pregnancy after a video of Rebecca and Eric was released on the Internet. The video showed Eric, Rebecca and Kari Ann Peniche naked and possibly high.

This will be the first child for Rebecca and Eric, who have been married for five years.

         

Colin Farrel Baptizes His Son in Poland

Colin Farrel and his girlfriend Alicja Bachleda-Curus baptized their son 3-month-old son Henry yesterday (December 29) in Poland.

After spending time with his family in Ireland, Colin and his girlfriend headed to Alicja’s hometown in Poland to baptize their son. Alicja’s mother confirmed that the baptism took place yesterday bit did not offer any other details.

It is being reported that Colin and family celebrated with a traditional Polish dinner in Krakow.

Henry was born on October 7, 2009.

Henry is the first child for Colin and Alicja. Colin has a 6-year old son named James from a previous relationship. James was recently spotted with Colin in Dublin at Colin’s brother’s wedding this past weekend.

         

Kourtney Kardashian Introduces Mason Dash Disick

The reality star and her boyfriend Scott Disick introduce their newborn son Mason in the latest issue of Life & Style Magazine.

Kourtney Kardashian, who stars in the reality show Keeping Up with the Kardashians talked to Life & Style Magazine about life with her newborn son and also the possibility of more children in the near future.

Congrats! How does it feel to be parents?

Kourtney: It feels amazing. It’s just so indescribable. You don’t get how good being a parent feels until it happens to you.

How was the labor itself?

K: It was surprisingly easy and just an incredible experience. I always thought your first is supposed to be really hard, but it was easy. I have an amazing doctor. He actually delivered me!

The room environment was just so relaxing, and everyone I wanted to be there was there—Scott, my mom, Kim and Khloé. No one under 18 is allowed in, so my little sisters Kendall and Kylie couldn’t come in. Actually, you’re only allowed to have two people in the room because of the swine flu — so we snuck Kim and Khloé in!

How did you choose his name?

K: The first time I started looking at baby names, Mason was the only one I liked. It was the only one that stuck with me. Right before he was born, I told my aunt we were thinking about going with that for a name. She told me that Mason means the same thing in English that Kardashian means in Armenian — stone worker. Another aunt told me my great uncle used to use the name Mason when he made dinner reservations, because Kardashian was too long. When I heard that, I thought, Oh my god, it’s meant to be.

Dash is not for my clothing store, as some people have suggested online. That would be stupid. Dash is short for Kardashian, and it was my father’s nickname.

We call him Mase and Baby Mason. And then all of the cutesy names: Gorgeous, Precious, Munchkin, Angel.

What is your daily routine like now?

K: We’re on Mason’s schedule, waking up every couple of hours to breastfeed. But it’s fun to get up and see him. I miss him by the time I see him again.

Can you see having another baby in the future?

K: Right now I’m obsessed with Mason and want to give him all my time. But being with him has definitely made me think about having another one! Kim and I are 18 months apart. Growing up, we did everything together. It would be nice for Mason to have a little brother or sister that many months apart too.

Mason is the first child for Kourtney and Scott, who have had an on-again-off-again relationship for over 2 years.

         

Mother and baby revived after childbirth complications

A mother and baby who doctors thought had died during childbirth were revived shortly afterwards.

Mike Hermanstorfer thought he had lost it all on Christmas Eve, but he was given it all back shortly after in what he now calls an “absolute miracle.”

Hermanstorfer’s wife, Tracy, was admitted to Colorado Spring’s Memorial Hospital for the delivery of her baby on Christmas Eve. Everything went according to plan until Tracy was given a local anesthetic.

“That’s when the nightmare started,” Mike Hermanstorfer told ABC’s “Good Morning America.” “She started going numb … She closed her eyes to take a nap, and she wasn’t waking up.”

Tracy had gone into cardiac arrest according to Dr. Stephanie Martin, a maternal-fetal medicine specialist at the hospital. Medical staff quickly made the decision to perform an emergency Caesarean section, but the status of the baby wasn’t good either.

Dr. Martin told the Los Angeles Times: “She had no signs of life. No heartbeat, no blood pressure, she wasn’t breathing. The baby was … basically limp, with a very slow heart rate.”

“I was holding her hand when we realized she was gone,” Mike Hermanstorfer explained. “My entire life just rolled out.”

But then, the unexpected happened, surprising Dr. Martin.

“As soon as I delivered the baby, the mother’s heartbeat came back,” Martin told ABC. “Somewhere between four and five minutes she had been without heart rate and had stopped breathing a minute or two prior to her heart stopping.”

Additionally, doctors were able to resuscitate the baby while Mike Hermanstorfer held it in his hands. “His life began in my hands,” Hermanstorfer told the Los Angeles Times. “That’s a feeling like none other. Life actually began in the palm of my hands.”

Dr. Martin isn’t able to fully explain why Tracy went into cardiac arrest or how she revived. She theorizes that the process of delivering the baby may have removed a component of stress from Tracy Hermanstorfer’s body. Dr. Martin also noted that there may have been an obstruction of blood flow related to the pregnancy, and delivering the baby may have regulated the blood flow.

Both the mother and the baby, named Coltyn Mikel Hermanstorfer, have recovered without additional problems.

         

British family prepares for quadruplets

A British family prepares to bring naturally-conceived quadruplets into the world by February.

Gillian Holden and Marc Hanley decided to expand their family this year. But they were shocked to learn that the family would potentially grow by four rather than by one.

Gillian Holden, a welfare assistant from Farnworth, Bolton, Greater Manchester, had first learned that she was going to have triplets upon receiving her first pregnancy scan. “I was shocked and very emotional when they told me it was triplets,” she told the Telegraph.

She later received another routine scan and was even more surprised by the new results.

“But then when I went back for my 16-week scan they counted two babies before going to get a doctor. I thought I’d lost the third and was so relieved when they said I was having four.”

The couple already have eight-year-old daughter Abbie, who is excited to be a big sister. And with so many children expected, the family is now trying to sell their two-bedroom house and find something larger but still close to family.

Dr. Koon Loong Chan, a consultant obstetrician at St. Mary’s Hospital for Women and Children in Manchester, expects the four babies to be delivered by Caesarean in February. Afterwards, the babies would likely stay in the hospital’s baby unit for a month before being allowed to go home.

“So far Gillian has done very well and all four of her babies are progressing satisfactorily,” he told the Telegraph. “I hope to get her to a reasonable stage in her pregnancy before delivering her to ensure the best possible outcome.”

Meanwhile, staff at the local Royal Bolton Hospital has been checking the status of the babies every two weeks. They intend to provide Gillian with steroid treatments in January to encourage the growth and development of the babies’ lungs.

The family has also received support from grocer Asda in Farnworth. The grocery super store has donated bottles, dishes, nappies and other assorted baby goods to the family.

Neil Winstanley, grocery manager at Asda Farnworth, told The Bolton News: “It was a pleasure to help. We work with the community, schools and charities and help out when we can. In return we would love to see the babies.”

“Asda have been brilliant and they have donated so much stuff, all of which will make a big difference,” added Gillian Holden.

         

Race Car Driver Hélio Castroneves Welcomes a Daughter

Hélio Castroneves and his girlfriend Adriana Henao welcomed their first child, a daughter on December 28th.

Helio’s daughter is already taking after her race car driver father as the little girl arrived a little more than a week early.  Mikaella arrived on December 28th in Atlanta, GA where the couple resides. Adriana’s due date had been January 6th.

She weighed in at 7 lbs 3 oz and was 19 inches long.

Helio tweeted the happy news on Twitter and even shared a picture of his new family of 3.

This is the first child for Helio and Adriana. The pregnancy was announced back in October. Helio has said that a wedding for the couple would be the next “natural step” for the couple but no dates have been announced.

         

Singer Van Morrison Welcomes Fourth Child at 64 Years Old

The legendary singer Van Morrison and his partner welcomed son George Ivan Morrison III on Monday, December 28th.

Van Morrison, who’s real name is George Ivan Morrison is a daddy once again at the age of 64. His partner Gigi Lee gave birth to the singer’s fourth child, but the first one together for the couple.

According to a message that was posted on Van Morrison’s website, the little one is a “spitting image” of his father. They seem to be calling him “Little Van” as a nickname.

The baby will have dual citizenship for the United States and the United Kingdom.

The exact time and location of the baby’s birth is being kept private according to a rep for the singer. His rep also would not state if Gigi was his wife or girlfriend but simply stated that she was his manager and executive producer of Van’s latest Live CD.

Van Morrison, who’s best known for songs like “Brown Eyed Girl” is also father to singer/songwriter Shana Morrison and also has two other children from a previous relationship with ex Michelle Rocca.

         

Davina McCall and Husband Open to Expanding Their Family Via Adoption

Although the couple, who have three children, will not be having any more biological children, they are both open to fostering or adopting more children in the future.

The TV presenter recently talked about expanding her family of 5 but not by giving birth to another child. Davina and her husband Matthew Robertson have 3 biological children, Holly, 8, and Tilly, 6, and son Chester, 3, but the couple seem to be open to including other children in their family if Davina’s work slows down.

Davina McCall told Now Magazine, “We’ve drawn a line under that. No more children. Matthew and I have discussed it. If there was an accident and I got pregnant, it would be a lovely mistake. But you will all know that’s exactly what it is. If I stepped down from work massively in the future - which I’m hoping not to do for a good few years yet - I would be interested in fostering.”

She added, “We’ve got a beautiful family and great kids - we’ve got a lot to offer. Matthew’s keen on adopting and I would like to foster. We’re open to ideas, so we’ll see.”

Davina has made it known that her children come first and even turned down being a contestant on Strictly Come Dancing because of her kids. Davina does still take on some work still. The TV presenter will be hosting the last season of Celebrity Big Brother in 2010 and will also new show Got To Dance.
