Ellen And Wife Have No Plans For Babies

Australian born actress Portia de Rossi, wife of talk show host Ellen DeGeneres, has publicly stated she has no plans on starting a family.

“It’s the same thing every single year – that I am trying to get pregnant,” the 36-year old actress told USA Today. “And I’m not. Maybe one day I’ll want to have kids, but it’s not something we’ve talked about recently.”

She tied the knot with DeGeneres, 51, last August. When she appeared on Ellen Monday, DeGeneres told the audience, “So I hear we are having a baby.” De Rossi joked, “I probably should have told you before the tabloids told you.”

The couple have been talking about their plans on leaving Hollywood in the future to settle in the country.

“I love horses and riding and love animals and Ellen loves animals,” she says. “It would be lovely for us. It’s what we’re going to do when we’re not working anymore.”
