Courteney Cox Arquette Shoots Down Pregnancy Rumors

A rep for the actress set the records straight that Courteney Cox Arquette is not pregnant with her second child.

Star magazine had been reporting that the former “Friends” actress was pregnant with her second child after looking curvier at the Golden Globe Awards. Courteney has talked about giving her 5 year old daughter Coco a sibling but apparently not right now.

A rep for Courteney told GossipCop.com “She is NOT pregnant.”

This announcement comes only days after her husband David Arquette defended his wife and her weight after the New York Times printed that Courteney and her friend Jennifer Aniston had put on weight. He says, “Writing articles about people that put on weight is just wasting space for real news. And who really cares? I love round people. I love skinny people. I love people in general; we’ve got to get past labels and stop being so critical about everything.”

Courteney is currently filming her new television series “Cougar Town.”

Jessica Alba Making Sure Her Daughter Grows Up Bilingual

Even though Jessica Alba is a third generation American, she is making sure that her 1 year old daughter Honor knows her Latina heritage and grows up bilingual.

The actress says that she wished she grew up bilingual “but it wasn’t meant to be.” Although she knows the basics of Spanish she says tells Siempre Mujer magazine her heritage is “in my blood whether I speak Spanish or not.”

After being criticized by the media for her comments about her heritage and not being able to speak Spanish she says, “I tried to explain to them that in this country I’m considered Latina and, thus, I consider myself Latina as well.” She adds, “I didn’t want to misrepresent Latinos and I didn’t know how to defend myself. But I went to my room and I cried all night.”

Alba says that she wants her 19 month old daughter to avoid what she had to go through so she “just hired a professor that specializes in Hispanic studies to teach me and Honor.” She also says that she has started incorporating Spanish words into her daughter’s vocabulary as well.

Honor is Jessica’s only child with her husband Cash Warren. She can be seen next in the movie Valentine’s day due out next month.

         

Tila Tequila Says Rapper The Game is Father of Her Baby

The reality star recently announced that she was pregnant and was going to retire from Hollywood but without adding some drama to the whole pregnancy situation.

Tila Tequila likes to Twitter and if you are following her on Twitter you may have seen her tweets about being pregnant and then recently her tweets saying that The Game is the father of her baby. Except for that, “The Game” is denying he has anything to do with Tila’s baby and he hardly even knows her.

Well, once again Tlia is speaking out and says, “Game, I don’t need to bicker and fight with you love, when I know a lot of shady things about you, that I can sell you out on but I’m not. You know damn straight everything you said in that video [interview in which he denies he is the father] is a lie! Why would you do that??? But I don’t even care.”

Tila, who was recently engaged to the late Casey Johnson (heir to Johnson and Johnson) says that she will haver proof that he is the daddy. “Just wait nine months for my paternity test. I’m not worried about it. Game has nine months to live out all of his fun lies. Live it up baby!” She adds, “Nine months from now, it’s the big paternity test day! Now THAT doesn’t lie, unlike you sir.”

Tila has been known for lying in the past. She also announced last year during the summer that she was pregnant but then quickly said it was no-body’s business if she was pregnant or not. There have also been problems between Tila, who supposedly was planning on having this baby with Casey Johnson, and Casey’s family. Tila is trying to get custody of Casey’s adopted daughter but Casey’s family is fighting for the little girl. Do you find it a little strange that she would get pregnant a mere weeks after her fiance dies?

         

Naomi Watts: Days With Her Sons are “Unforgettable”

The mother of two dishes on what it’s like with a family of boys and how quickly her little ones are growing up.

Naomi Watts is the only female in the house as even her dogs are all male. She and fiance Liev Schreiber have two son, Alexander ‘Sasha” Pete, 2, and Samuel Kai, 13 months. The actress tells OK!, “Oh yeah, there’s a lot of testosterone. I know — I’m desperate. In Australia, all my girlfriends, we come together and take up a lot of space.”

Naomi is not complaining though. While at the Sundance Film Festival promoting her movie The Mother and Child, she revealed that, “every day there’s one great surprise after another.”

She adds, “Every day feels like an unforgettable one. I have to start writing it down. There have been many milestones.”

Naomi’s movie The Mother and Child hits theaters in May.

         

NASCAR Driver Juan Pablo Montoya and Wife Expecting Third Child

There appears to be a baby boom happening in NASCAR as another race car driver announces that his wife is pregnant.

Juan Pablo Montoya did want many other celebrities and athletes have been doing lately and used Twitter to announced that he was going to be a daddy again. He wrote, “By the way the wife is pregnant with our third child!!! Very happy about it!!!!”

Juan Pablo and his wife are already parents to Sebastian, 5, and Paulina, 3.

Other NASCAR babies that will arrive this year include: Jimmie Johnson and wife Chandra expect their first child in July, Elliot Sadler and his wife Amanda are expecting their first child (a boy) in March, and Carl Edwards and wife Kate expect a daughter in February.

Baby number three for Juan Pablo is due in July.

         

New morning-after pill effective up to 5 days after

A new morning-after pill has been shown to be effective at stopping a woman from getting pregnant up to 5 days after unprotected sex.

Research out of the University of Edinburgh and NHS Lothian in Scotland compared the effectiveness of commonly available morning-after pill levonorgestrel with a new form, ulipristal acetate.

The research, published in the medical journal The Lancet, found that the newly available ulipristal acetate more than halved the rate of pregnancy compared to levonorgestrel and held its effectiveness up to five days after having unprotected sex.

The British Pregnancy Advisory Service welcomed the research, calling the results of the new drug “exciting news.”

Ann Furedi, the service’s chief executive, told the BBC that ulipristal “offers a longer time window for use than the traditional, emergency contraception pill.”

“Different hormones are involved to the ones traditionally used in contraception, so it may be that these will prove to have other contraceptive uses in the future,” she added.

Researchers conducted their own research, combining the results with another recent study. In all, 1,694 women who visited clinics in the Republic of Ireland, the U.K. and the U.S. to obtain emergency contraception participated in the research.

All the women arrived within five days of having unprotected sex. The researchers randomly assigned one of the two pills. Among the women, 15 became pregnant after taking the new ulipristal acetate while 22 became pregnant using levonorgestrel.

From the group, 203 of the women asked for emergency contraception between three and five days after unprotected sex. In that group, three women became pregnant, all of whom had taken levonorgestrel.

Professor Anna Glasier, who headed the research study, noted that there was only a six percent rate of pregnancy expected out of the group, making it difficult to pinpoint who exactly required the contraception the most. “Arguably, over 90 percent of participants did not need to use emergency contraception,” said Glasier. “The difficulty, however, is in identifying this small population of women.”

There are concerns, however, about the availability of the new contraceptive. While ulipristal was licensed for sale in Europe last May, the pill is not yet available over the counter, in part because it doesn’t have the established record of safety that levonorgestrel has. In addition, the new pill costs up to three times more than levonorgestrel. This has led to some concern that the women who need it the most won’t be able to access it.

         

Father of Padma Lakshmi’s Baby Allegedly Revealed

According to new reports from New York Post the father of Padma Lakshmi’s baby has been revealed even though she has kept quiet on the issue from the minute she announced she was pregnant.

The report is claiming that Columbia business school professor Adam Dell is the father of Padma’s baby. Adam is the brother of the computer mogul Michael Dell.

Padma has recently been linked to Teddy Forstmann and it had been assumed that he was the father of her baby, but according to the new reports Teddy is not the father. There seems to be some confusion though as Padma was recently hospitalized for five days and an inside source says, “The baby was in serious danger. Teddy (Forstmann) has been by her side the whole time. He has been incredibly wonderful and supportive.”

Whoever the father is it appears that Forstmann is stepping up to the plate for Padma, who has suffered from endometriosis and calls her pregnancy a “miracle.”

The Top chief host announced that she was pregnant several months ago but would never reveal who the father of the baby was. A rep for Padma says that she “has no interest in sharing with the public the identity of the father. She asks that people respect her privacy.”

Padma is due to give birth to her first child next month.

         

Billie Piper Reveals Her Secret to Losing Baby Weight: Luck

According to actress Billie Piper she was very lucky to be able to shed the baby weight so fast.

Billie says that the extra pounds just kinda fell off her after she had her son Winston James, now 15 months. She says, “I think I was quite healthy. I wasn’t massively healthy. I just ate loads of protein. It’s either that or speed pills, and the thing is you do actually have to sleep at some point.”

The Secret Diary of a Call Girl actress says it only took her 6 weeks to get back to her pre-baby body. She says that she “just ran a lot and ate less.”

Billie also reveals that the high demands of being an actress with a small child has made her start questioning her career path. “I have actually started to look at what I could do other than acting,” says Billie. ”I don’t want to be away filming when Winston is older and I am toying with the idea of writing or producing a TV drama.”

Billie, who is married to Laurence Fox, says that she hopes for three children eventually and that she “loves being a mum.” She says, “It’s very hard to articulate what it’s like without sounding too clichéd but life feels complete now we have Winston. I am really happy and such a softie with him.” She adds, “There is no choice in what time I get up in the day but I don’t mind as I make so much more of the days now I am a mum. It’s brilliant and he knows exactly what he is doing. He just has to smile at me and I can’t resist.”

Jennifer Lopez Brags About Her Flat Abs After Having Twins

The singer talks about her body, almost two years after giving birth to her twins, Max and Emme.

“My abs are pretty flat for having twins!” Lopez told usmagazine.com.

Jennifer, 40, says that she really doesn’t have any type of secret to losing the weight and getting her body back. She says, “Nothing crazy,”It’s about being consistent. That’s it.”

Although she does admit that she doesn’t have time in her busy schedule to workout everyday she does say, “You have to put the work in.”

Jennifer Lopez also revealed to the New York Post last week that she tries to mix up her fitness routine as much as possible. She says that  she does the StairMaster, boxing, biking, and a bunch of lunges to “keep those thigh muscles firm.”

“It’s true I could serve coffee using my rear as a ledge, but I’m proud of my butt,” she said. “A dress shouldn’t look like a coat hanger. Skinny girls miss out.”

Jennifer’s twins will turn 2 years old in next month.
