Alfie Patten not the father

A DNA test has shown that Alfie Patten, the 13-year-old boy is not the father of a baby born to Chantelle Stedman, 15, whom he had unprotected sex with once.
Chantelle Stedman told Alfie Patten, who was just 12 when he had sex with her, that he was her newborn baby daughter Maisie’s father.
A media frenzy was created with The Sun reporting record figures. According to a press release from the title, the story became The Sun’s most popular online article of all time recording 3.9 million unique users in one day, beating the previous high of 1.6 million.
At first Chantelle Stedman said Alfie Patten was the only boy she had ever slept with, but soon after other teens came forward saying they too could be the baby’s father, also claiming to have had sex with Chantelle.
It is still unclear who the baby’s father actually is.

13-Year-Old Dad Was ‘Scammed’ Claims Friend
Alfie Patten, 13, who was named as one of Britain’s youngest fathers has been ‘scammed’ claims a family friend of the 15-year-old mother.
Clive Sim, 39, told the Daily Mail paper that Chantelle Stedman’s parents told her to remain silent about other potential fathers to her baby girl, Maisie.
It is claimed that they wanted to create media attention in order to profit financially. Alfie, who is a very young looking 13-year-old has requested a paternity test, and hopes to prove that he is the father.
“It’s all pretty sordid,” Sim told the Mail. “Alfie may not be an angel and nor is Chantelle. But at the end of the day they are only children and it is the adults around them making bad decisions based on money, not their welfare.”
It is suggested that there could be as many as six other people who could be father to Maisie, although Ms. Stedman denies these claims.
