Cheryl Cole to Quit X-Factor to Have a Baby?

This may be Cheryl Cole’s last season judging on the X-Factor as she wants to focus on her family and try for a baby instead.

According to the News of the World, Cheryl Cole doesn’t want to put off having a baby any longer. Even ITV has offered to double her £1.2m salary if she comes back for the next season of the X-Factor, that still isn’t as appealing as having a baby with her husband Ashley.

According to an inside source, starting a family is the “number one thing” on Chery’s mind these days. The source continued, “The show is a huge commitment. Cheryl wanted to have a baby with Ashley this year, but put it off because of work. She doesn’t want to wait much longer and she’s not keen on having to judge The X Factor while she’s heavily pregnant.”

In the past Cheryl has been open about wanting a “big family” and not wanting to ”put it’ off for too long.

The insider also stated that Cheryl is more likely to quit the show if her protege, Joe McElderry wins tonight’s final.

The singer also has a committment to record a new Girls Aloud album in 2010 and also wants to break into the US scene as well. There have been rumors that Simon Cowell wants to take Cheryl to American to help her succeed as well if she does one more season of the X Factor.
