Cecelia Ahern and her partner David Keoghan are first time parents as she gives birth to their daughter.
The little girl, whom was named Robin, was born yesterday to the couple. Robin weighed in at 6 lbs and was born at the Rotunda Hospital in Dublin. Both Cecilia and the baby are reported to be doing well and resting.
Cecelia is the daughter of Ireland’s former Taoiseach (president), Bertie Ahern and has written 7 novels. Her most popular book, P.S. I Love You was recently turned into a movie.
Cecelia and her partner David Keoghan have been together for over 6 years.
During her pregnancy, Ahern said that her baby was, “the greatest gift I’ve ever been given. It’s the most important thing that’s ever happened to me. I’ve never been so excited in my life … and I’ve had a lot of exciting things happen to me.”
The novelist also said that she was devoting herself to motherhood for the next year and would not be writing another book for awhile.
