Actor Ryan Thomas Gets Arrested after Heated Row with Ex Over Daughter

The Coronation Street star was taken into police custody after a heated row with his ex-girlfriend Tina O’Brien when she came to pick up their 1-year-old daughter Scarlett.

Ryan was taken to the police station and questioned but was released 8 hours later with no charges against him. It is alleged that their was a very heated argument that took place between Ryan and Tina in the house in Greater Manchester the couple used to share.

Apparently Ryan was at the home, in which he still lives in, when Tina came to pick up their 1-year-old daughter and an argument ensued. According to the News of the World, the neighbors reported hearing a “heated row” coming from the home.

Ryan issued a statement last night saying, “I would like to make clear that I have not assaulted and would never assault Tina. The police are satisfied this was the case and I was released without any action being taken.”

A rep for the Greater Manchester police made the following statement, “Police were called to an address in Cheadle at 6.45pm on Friday following reports of an assault. A 25-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of common assault and taken into custody. He was later released without charge. Inquiries are continuing.”

The couple met on the set of Coronation Street were the two of them starred in the show. The split last month after dating for 6 years and having a daughter together.

It’s being reported that the couple has been fighting since splitting last month especially over their daughter and who she will spend Christmas with.
