Dr. Walter “Curley”‘ Watson was honored yesterday at University Hospital in Augusta, Georgia, as he celebrated his 100th birthday.  Some people call the obstetrician and gynecologist “Dr. Watson,” and some people call him “Papa Doc.”  Most people, however, call him the oldest practicing physician in the United States.

Stillborn Babies In Maine To Be Issued With Birth Certificates

Last Friday a new law was introduced into Augusta, Maine to issue birth certificates for stillborn babies.
Gov. John Baldacci signed the bill which has been called Noah’s Law.
The law was named after Lindsay and Mark Schuenke’s son who was stillborn.
Until now, parents were only issued with a death certificate in the state of Maine.
