Pregnant Jennifer Hudson, Essence Magazine

Jennifer Hudson, the former American Idol contestant and Grammy and Oscar winner has a life that’s been very public and very turbulent. Rumors are now abound that she’s overjoyed to be pregnant.

Representatives of Hudson have denied rumors, however, two sources close to the actress and singer told Essence Magazine that she’s expecting her first child.

Engaged to Harvard law graduate David Otunga, who appeared on the reality show “I Love New York 2,” no date has been announced for their marriage.

Just last October tragedy struck Jennifer Hudson when her mother, brother and nephew were murdered in Chicago. Hudson’s estranged brother-in-law William Balfour was later charged with the killings.

Hudson returned to the stage on Feb. 1, singing “The Star-Spangled Banner” at the Super Bowl. A week later, she won her first Grammy Award for best R&B album.

Hudson is on tour through May 8 with Robin Thicke.

Grey’s Anatomy Star Ellen Pregnant

Grey’s Anatomy actress Ellen Pompeo is pregnant.

She is expecting her first child with husband Chris Ivery, who is a music producer. They have been married for four years after they met in the fruit aisle of a supermarket.

Her agent said “It’s great news. They’re ecstatic.”

The star had been photographed after appearing on the David Letterman show in February, and had been covering her baby bump from photographers.

Fans of Grey’s Anatomy know have to wait to see if her character Meredith Grey will become pregnant on the show.

         

Maxine Bahns Welcomes a Daughter

The star of The Mentalist gives birth to a little girl.

Actress Maxine Bahns and her husband Patrick Watson welcomed a little girl into their family on March 8. Madison Rose weighed in at 6lbs. 2oz and was 19 1/4 inches long. The couple plans on calling her “Maddie.”

A rep for the actress told People that, “Madison is doing great and the happy parents are excited to bring her into their home.”

Maxine announced the pregnancy in January and revealed that it was going to be a girl. According to Maxine the meaning behind the name is, “I love the nickname Maddie. And my husband’s mom’s name is Rosemary, so we wanted to honor her by giving our daughter the name Rose.”

This is the first child for Maxine and her husband.
