Cristiano Ronaldo Paid Surrogate to Have His Son

After the footballer announced that he was now a father, new reports claim that Crisitano Ronaldo paid a surrogate mother in the United States to have his son.

Portuguese newspaper Diario de Noticias reported that the baby was conceived at the end of last summer by a surrogate mother in San Diego, CA while Cristiano was holidaying there.

The baby boy was born on June 17 and weighed in at 9lbs 8oz.

According to Ronaldo’s sister Katia Aveiro, he is “very happy about becoming a father.” She says that the little one looks exactly like his dad with dark brown hair and brown eyes. Katia added, “He’s very happy, of course! Who isn’t happy having children? The baby looks like him, although he’s still very small to see what his features will be like.’He’s very calm, he just eats and sleeps.”

She also revealed that Ronaldo plans on revealing his son’s name when he returns from Madrid, where he is currently working. State television channel RTP claimed the boy will be called Ronaldo Junior.

There were reports yesterday that the baby was a product of a fling that Ronaldo had with an American woman and the footballer paid the woman to stay anonymous.

Ronaldo is currently dating Russian underwear model Irina Shayk.
