Kevin Pietersen Makes Back Home Just in Time to See First Child Born
Cricket player Kevin Pietersen made a quick dash back to his wife Jessica Taylor’s side just quick enough to witness the birth of his son.
Just hours after Pietersen made it back from the Caribbean, his wife Jessica Taylor gave birth to the couple’s first child. Kevin was in Barbados playing for England in the World Twenty 20.
The couple announced the good news today in a statement saying they were “both thrilled to announce the birth of their baby boy today. The baby was born this morning without complication and both baby and Jessica are doing brilliantly,” they added.
Kevin described the birth of his son, who is yet to be named, “the most amazing experience of my life.”
Kevin will be staying home with his son and wife for the next few days and then will return to the tournament. Jessica has since put her singing career on hold since marrying Kevin in 2008.
