Lily Allen Retires to Have a Baby but Denies Being Currently Pregnant

Singer Lily Allen announced she is leaving music for now to pursue having a family with her boyfriend Sam Cooper.

Although Lily Allen has been spotted with a much rounder belly and she just announced last week she was retiring from music for several years to start a family she denies that she is currently pregnant. Photos of the singer were taken with her wearing a loose shirt that still showed a round belly underneath. Allen took to her Twitter page and announced “I’m not pregnant.”

Allen did say that she would love to have a baby soon. She says, “I’d like to have a child within a year. It’ll be a minimum of four or five years before I make a record again. I don’t think that mixes well with the idea of settling down and having children, which is ultimately my goal and more of a priority than flying around the world.”

She also told Absolute Radio, “I’d want to be really hands-on for the first two or three years of having a little one. I don’t want to leave them.”

Lily suffered a miscarriage three years ago after going public with her pregnancy. She has spoken out about the miscarriage and how it caused her to get depressed for quite some time.

Lily has been dating Sam since last July.
