Coleen Rooney’s family arrive at hospital

Coleen Rooney’s family have arrived at Liverpool Women’s Hospital to welcome the birth of baby Rooney.

Mother Colette, father and brother arrived at the hospital in Liverpool today as the wife of the football star prepares to birth her first baby.

No official announcement from the couple as yet, however sources say it is only a matter of time until Coleen and Wayne are parents.

Wayne Rooney was missing from football training for Manchester United this morning as he stood by Coleen’s side as her birth ran nine days overdue.

Most wives of footballers are known for paying to give birth at London’s Portland hospital. Victoria Beckham, Jamie Redknapp’s wife Louise and Frank Lampard’s ex-girlfriend Ellen Rives all had their babies there.

Coleen has broken ranks with other celebrities by snubbing the magazine deals for pictures of the baby and chosing to give birth at a National Health hospital. Insisting she wants her child to be kept out of the spotlight, she turned down a £1million offer from OK to pose with her husband and the expected baby.

Beckhams Celebrate 10th Anniversary ‘Kid’ Free

David and Victoria Beckham celebrate their tenth year anniversary with a break for two in the Seychelles.

The couple, who married on July 4 1999 in a lavish ceremony in Ireland, wanted to celebrate in style.

They have left their three sons, Brooklyn (10), Romeo (6) and Cruz (4) with Victoria’s parents. They will be looked after for 10 days as their parents enjoy a romantic break together.

One source told the Daily Mirror newspaper “They may have been married for a decade but Victoria and David are like a pair of newlyweds when they get time alone. They both moved heaven and earth so they could be together for this anniversary.”

The football star and former Spice Girl have splashed out over £50,000 to stay at an exclusive eco-spa in the Indian Ocean. The island is surrounded by white beaches and luxurious villas.

The source added: “To keep out any prying eyes, the stars will have a private plunge pool and thatched massage gazebo overlooking the sea. And a personal chef is on call to prepare meals around the clock.”

         

Mel C Baby - Melanie Chisholm gives birth to a baby girl

“Mel C” or Melanie Chisholm, 35, the former Spice Girl starlet has given birth to her first baby. The now successful solo singer and partner Thomas Starr welcomed their new baby, “Scarlet Starr” into the wide world.

This now completes a baby for all the spice girls:

• Geri Halliwell has a daughter, Bluebell, who is two

• Emma Bunton is mum to 18-month-old son Beau

• Mel B has two daughters Phoenix-Chi, nine, and 22-month-old Angel Iris

• Victoria Beckham has three sons - Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz

Weighing 8lbs 3oz Mel C said her new baby is, “Beautiful”. Details about the birth are still to be released.

Mel C and Thomas Starr are due to marry this July after dating for six years.
