Taye Diggs Ready For His Son

Actor Taye Diggs and his wife Idina Menzel are all set for the birth of their baby, but waiting on a name until he is born.

Diggs is eagerly awaiting the arrival of his son, who is due early next month. The Private Practice star says that him and his wife Idina have just about everything picked out except for a name.

“We have a couple [names] in the running,” Taye, 38, said. “But part of us wants to see what he hits us with when we see him. We’ll see what he looks like.”

He also said that just about everything else is done. His wife has the two nurseries done, one in their LA home and other in the New York home. He went on to add, “She did them herself, painted them, and today she’s putting together a bassinet. We’ve picked out our doula. My wife is so on it!”

The couple just recenlty celebrated their 6th wedding anniversary and are now looking forward to being parents. “Everyone keeps telling me how amazing it’s going to be. Once the birth happens, everything is going to change on every level,” he says. “I’m very excited.”
