Alec Baldwin Writing a Parenting Book

The 30 Rock actor is penning a parenting book even after his atrocious voicemail that he left for his daughter back in 2007.

Apparently Alec Baldwin believes that he is an authority on parenting, which is why he told Playboy magazine that he is considering writing a parenting book now. Back in 2007, a harsh voicemail that he left for his daughter Ireland mad it’s way onto the Internet. In the voicemail, he calls his daughter a “pig” and says how ungrateful she is. He has now since repaired the relationship with his daughter and is thinking about writing a book for parents on looking at how they parent their children.

He told the magazine, “It will be ironic for some people, but I’m going to write a parenting book. We’re at, not a crisis, but an awful place right now in terms of parenting. People are raising their children with the belief that we need to be friends with our children. Kids have too much power and call too many of the shots, telling their parents what they will and won’t do.”

Would you buy a parenting book from Alec Baldwin?

LOL. Hmm…not really sure. Is Alec a good authority on parenting? He was chatting about this important topic with Playboy? LOL. You just have to laugh, don’t ya?
