Charlie Sheen’s Son Still In the Hospital

Charlie Sheen’s twin boy Max remains in the hospital since being born premature on March 14.

Charlie Sheen’s wife, Brooke Mueller gave birth to twin boys, Max and Bob on March 14 and since then Bob has made his way home to the Sheen house, but Max remains in the hospital.

Sheen’s rep confirmed the news to Us Magazine, saying, “Charlie and Brooke’s infant son remains in the hospital, not because of a heart condition as reported, but because he has not gained the weight necessary to leave hospital.”

The rep also went on to say, “Max is expected to reach the weight requirement shortly and will join his brother [Bob] at home. The Sheens appreciate the outpouring of concern but have assured everyone that both Bob and Max are fine.”

Weight issues are a common occurrence among premature multiple births. The boys were born over 6 weeks early.

This is Sheen’s 4th and 5th child. He has two daughters, Sam,5, and Lola, 3 with ex-wife Denise Richards. He also has a daughter named Cassandra, 24 from another previous relationship.
