Tiffani Thiessen Talks About Her Labor and Motherhood

Actress Tiffani Thiessen welcomed her first child, daughter Harper, five weeks ago and now opens about her labor and how motherhood is going so far.

Tiffani had talked about trying her hardest for a hypnobirth, but also said she was staying open about her delivery, which didn’t go exactly as she planned. Thiessen ended up needing a C-section after 30 hours of labor.

“First my water didn’t break; they had to do it for me,” Tiffani says. “Then the baby wasn’t descending, because the cord was wrapped around her neck. Once she was finally out, I didn’t even get to hold her before they whisked her away. You’re staring across the room, like, ‘Hello? Over here!’ The whole thing was very surreal.”

The new mom went on to say that she is still in awe of her little girl. Thiessen says, “She sleeps anywhere from three to four hours at a time at night, which is not bad. It’s a lot of work. This is a kind of love that you never really knew about. You haven’t known this person for very long, but you love them so much.”

Harper is the first child for Tiffani and her husband Brady Smith.

Ali Larter Confirms Pregnancy

After being seen with a baby bump, actress Ali Larter confirms that she is expecting her first child.

A rep for the Heroes actress announced, “Ali and Hayes are thrilled to be expecting their first child.”

The baby is due to arrive this winter.

This will be the first child for her and her husband Hayes MacArthur, whom she married last August.

         

Actress Christina Applegate and Fiancée Expecting a Baby

Breast cancer survivor Christina Applegate revealed that she and her fiancée Martyn Lenoble are expecting their first child.

After being diagnosed in 2008 with breast cancer, Christina talked about a change in her life and wanting to start a family. Well, apparently she and her fiancée are making that dream come true as they announce they are expecting a child.

The actress took to her Twitter account to announce the news. She had been tweeting about her avocado cravings lately and now explained it all. She wrote, “Thank you all for your sweet words, now you understand my avocado situation! xoxo”

Christina and Martyn got engaged on Valentine’s Day after dating for two years. In past interviews Applegate has talked about how her fiancée has been her savior through her ordeal with breast cancer. Last year she said, “I’m very grateful to Martyn for coming along at a time that he did because he’s been my rock through all of this. He gave me something to really want to live for and something to smile about.”

Christina has been given the clear from her doctors after having a double mastectomy. She has since founded Right Action for Women, which is a charity that helps with breast cancer screenings.

         

Nick Cannon Says Wife Mariah Carey is Not Pregnant

After months of speculation that singer Mariah Carey is pregnant with her first child, her husband Nick Cannon sets the record straight and says there is no baby on the way right now.

After Carey pulled out of Tyler Perry’s latest movie due to health reasons, rumors started flying that she was in fact pregnant and that was the reason why she could not star in the movie. But according to husband Nick Cannon, Mariah is not pregnant.

Cannon says, “Mariah is not pregnant. The timing has to be right,” and adds, “but I can’t wait to be a dad!”

Nick and Mariah have been talking about having children soon since they married two years ago.

         

Jennifer Ellison Sheds 3st of Her Baby Weight

Jennifer Ellison is showing off her post-baby body after shedding 3 of the 4 stone she gained while pregnant with her son Bobby.

The former Brookside actress has been able to shed 3 stone after 4 months of healthy eating and exercising after welcoming her first child in February. Ellison says that she gained 5 dress sizes when she was pregnant and now ready to take off all the weight.

She told Closer magazine, “I was a size 8 when I fell pregnant and a size 18 after – I just ballooned. I ate what I wanted and didn’t exercise, so of course I put on weight. I put on 4st. I was like a hippo! I’ve lost 3st thanks to my Closer diet and workouts – and I feel great.” Jennifer says she is now a size 10-12.

She also adds, “Even though I’ve posed in all sorts of men’s mags in the past, I’ve never felt really proud of my body until now because I’ve never had to work to make it look good. ‘I lost this weight the old-fashioned way – a healthy diet and exercise.”

Jennifer, who is 5 feet 6inches tall weighed only 10 stone before falling pregnant and when she brought her son home from the hospital she was 13 stone.

“Bobby was 9lb, so he was a big baby,” says Jen. “But I still had a huge bump after I had him – seeing my naked body for the first time after the birth was a bit of a shock! Most celeb mums leave the hospital in their size 8 jeans, but I was still in maternity dresses and huge knickers!”

Due to a 92 hour labor which resulted in a Cesarean section, Ellison had to wait 6 weeks before she could start exercising. After six weeks she started Pilates, boxing, and running and hired a personal trainer. She says that her confidence finally started to come back when she started to see the pounds coming off.

Although Jennifer is happy with her progress so far, she says that she still wants to lose the rest of the baby weight. “I want to lose another stone and I’ll be happy. I know my body will never be the same because I’m curvier and I’ve got stretch marks on my tummy, which I hate – I might get them lasered off some day. My boobs aren’t as firm, but it doesn’t matter because I have a healthy and happy little boy, who I love more than anything. I love working and I’m proof that you can lose the baby weight – no matter how impossible it might seem.”

Jennifer says that she would love four kids with her husband Robbie Tickle.

         

David Beckham: “Always Trying” for Another Child

David Beckham reveals that him and his wife Victoria would love to add another child into their family.

Despite having three boys already, Brooklyn, 11, Romeo, 7, and Cruz, 5, the footballer says that him and his wife are “always trying” for another child. He adds, “If we’re lucky enough to have more, that will be amazing.”

Beckham also reveals how different his boy’s personalities are. He notes, “Every day the kids say something funny. Brooklyn doesn’t say much. Cruz will talk the whole day. Romeo the same but Brooklyn says hardly anything. He’s starting to notice girls, typical teenager.”

         

Actress Ali Larter Expecting First Child?

Heroes star Ali Larter seems to be sporting a much rounder and bigger stomach nowadays, which leads us to believe that she is expecting her first child.

Ali was seen out at Barneys New York in Beverly Hills wearing a loose white, linen top that appeared to be hiding quite a bump underneath. There have been no official announcements from the actress, but the pictures clearly show she is pregnant.

Ali and her husband Hayes MacArthur have been married for almost a year.

         

Oksana Accuses Mel Gibson of Bruising Daughter

The fight between Mel Gibson and Oksana Grigorieva is far from over and now Mel’s ex is bringing new evidence of possible child abuse.

Oksana is alleging that Mel hit his daughter Lucia, (now 8 months old) and left a bruise on the baby’s chin. There apparently are photographs of Lucia after the incident that show bruising on her chin. According to a lawyer for Oksana, they plan on using the photos in court in order to strip custody away from Mel.

Grigorieva also claims that Gibson lunged at her to hit her while she was holding the couple’s baby as well, who was only two months old at the time. She alleges that Lucia was also hurt in this altercation as well.

At the couple’s court hearing there have been officials seen who deal with child abuse.

With all these allegations against Mel, his ex-wife Robyn says she doesn’t believe any of it and stands by Mel. She has even written a sworn statement that says that in the 28 years she was married to Mel he never once hit her or any of his children. She wrote, “Mel never engaged in any physical abuse of any kind toward me before, during or after our marriage. Mel was a wonderful and loving father.”

There have also been several recordings that have been leaked on the Internet that are allegedly between Gibson and Oksana, in which Mel threatens his ex as well as goes on tirades. Attorneys for Gibson are alleging that the tapes were actually leaked by Oksana so she could get more money after the couple split. They also state they have “concrete evidence” that the tapes have been tampered with and are not as they appear.

There have been many questions about the tape and why Oksana recorded Mel if she was threatened by him instead of going straight to the police.

The couple split in March of this year only a few months after their daughter was born.

         

Victoria’s Secret Model Doutzen Kroes Will be Joining the Other Models in Motherhood

The baby boom for Victoria’s Secret models continues as Doutzen Kroes announces that she is 3 months pregnant.

The model announced the news to Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf. She revealed, “Sunnery and I are in the clouds. The critical first three months have gone well and I feel good.”

The father of the baby is DJ Sunnery James, whom she has been dating since August 2009.

The model also revealed that she plans on modeling as far as possible into her pregnancy she can. She also states she looks at other mom models Heidi Klum and Adriana Lima as inspiration.

This will be the first child for the couple.

         

Craig Ferguson and Wife Expecting a Baby Next Year

Late night talk show host Craig Ferguson announced that him and his wife Megan Wallace-Cunningham are expecting a baby next year.

Ferguson took to his Twitter account to announce the news, writing, “Holy crackers! Mrs F is pregnant. How did that happen? …oh yeah I know how. Another Ferguson arrives in 2011. The world trembles.”

This will be the first child that Craig and Megan have together as Craig has a 9 year old son from a previous relationship.
