Mel Gibson, “Octopop”: Rep reveals baby name

Mel Gibson and Oksana Grigorieva have named their baby Lucia.

Mel Gibson, has named his new baby daughter Lucia, meaning, “Light”. It’s a particularly popular name in Scandinavian countries because they receive so little sunlight in the winter months.

Mel Gibson’s representative confirmed: “Oksana Grigorieva and Mel Gibson welcomed the arrival of a baby girl named Lucia on Friday, Oct. 30, 2009, at an undisclosed hospital in Los Angeles.”

A source said: “Everyone sang ‘For He’s A Jolly Good Fellow’ and he blushed.”

Although this is their first child together, both Mel and Oksana, 39, are already parents.

Mel Gibson’s eighth child has earned him the tabloid name of, “Octopop”. The star has six sons and a daughter with former wife Robyn, who filed for divorce in April this year after 28 years of marriage and is expected to receive half of his fortune. Oskana Grigorieva has a 12-year-old son Alexander with actor Timothy Dalton, (Of James Bond fame).

A friend of Mel’s added: “Everything is great! They couldn’t be happier. Everyone’s healthy and thrilled. He loves it!”

Mel Gibson’s baby girl makes him, “Octopop”

Oksana Grigorieva has given birth to a healthy baby girl.

Grigorieva, has given birth a few weeks before her due date. However, mom and daughter are healthy and recovering at home.

This is Mel Gibson’s eighth child, earning him the title of “Octopop”. It’s also the second child for Grigorieva, 39, who has a 12-year-old son by actor Timothy Dalton, (Of James Bond Fame).

Gibson, 53, is currently embroiled in a divorce with ex Robyn, who looks set to be awarded half of the actor’s £640million fortune.

Initially the relationship was made public in April at the Hollywood premiere of, “X Men Origins: Wolverine,” days after his estranged wife filed the divorce papers.

Last month the singer dismissed marriage rumours saying the couple had ‘no plans to marry whatsoever’.

She continued: ‘I haven’t thought about it.”

The Russian brunette has also been busy with her music career.

Since signing with Gibson’s record label she has recorded an album called Beautiful Heartache.

Recently Oksana Grigorieva is reported to have turned down a prenuptial contract with Mel - $5 million a year for up to 10 years. Gibson’s generous offer was apparantly refused, saying, she wants “all or nothing,” which is putting the marriage on ice.

         

Mel Gibson and Oksana Grigorieva Welcome a Daughter

Radaronline is reporting that Mel Gibson’s girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva has given birth to the couple’s daughter.

It’s being reported that Mel and Oksana welcomed a daughter into the world on Oct 30th. Oksana’s due date was not until the middle of November, but reports are saying that mom and baby are doing fine.

No other details such as baby’s name or weight are given.

This is the eight child for Mel, who recently divorced his wife to be with Oksana.

After Mel Gibson’s 29-year marriage to Robyn collapsed he announced soon after that 39-year-old Russian pianist Oksana Grigorieva was carrying his child. Making this the eighth child for Mad Mel.

Mel Gibson and Oksana are preparing for the birth of their first child towards the end of the year. But before that Oksana intends to debut her album, “Beautiful Heartache”, due for release on November 2. Mel is attributed as helping with the lyrics to some tracks, co-producing the CD and shooting the promo videos.

Gushing in an interview, Oksana said: “I think it is incredible that he helped me,

“He is very prominent in my career - he has believed in me. Mel has been very supportive and he’s an amazing man.”

Oksana’s baby is due around December, so she is cutting down on her music career.

“I will be playing a concert in a few days then I will have to slow down,” says the Ukrainian-born brunette.

“This is my last burst of work before we get ready for the birth. I consider it a gift, so I am really blessed. I have got the album as well, so it is wonderful.

“It’s been an extraordinary year. I was so excited when I found out I was pregnant. Mel is really happy about the baby. He is fantastic with children and he understands parenthood.”

Oksana and Mel Gibson first met when he heard her perform music in concert. He was so overwhelmed that he offered her a record deal through his firm, Icon Distribution to help her produce her first solo album.

“Things are very good,” say’s Oksana.

She also has a 12-year-old son Alexander by Timothy Dalton, the James Bond star.

Oksana Grigorieva, who is pregnant with Mel Gibson’s baby says that they do not know the sex of the baby and want it to be a surprise.

Grigorieva admits that “I’m already buying things in gender-neutral colors. It’s very cute.” She and her boyfriend Mel Gibson chose to keep the sex of the baby a surprise until the delivery. Her expected due date is late fall.

Oksana’s 12-year-old son is just as excited about the baby coming soon. Although their is going to be a significant difference in age, she says that they will get along just fine. She said, “He’s like a little man, protecting me. He’s looking forward to it very much.”

Mel also has children from a previous relationship. This baby will join Mel’s 7 children from his wife Robyn, who he just filed from divorce from this year.

         

Mel Gibson Will Pay Grigorieva $10 Million The Moment She Gives Birth

A friend of Mel Gibson’s has told the Chicago Sun-Times that the actor has agreed to pay Oksana Grigorieva, who is carrying his child, $10 million “the moment the the baby is born,”

It has also been revealed that the singer will be guaranteed $40,000 per month in child support until the child turns 18-years-old. Gibson will also pay for the child to be educated privately and will cover the costs of college.

The couple met after Grigorieva was signed up with Gibson’s record label. It is reported that if they do marry, there would be a prenuptial agreement to pay Grigorieva a further $25 million if they are still married in the event of Gibson’s death. She would not be entitled to any further money from his estimated $750 million fortune.

Gibson’s estranged wife Robyn, who was married to the actor for 27 years, is predicted to win half of her husbands fortune in her divorce settlement.

         

Mel Gibson Expecting His Eighth Child

Mel Gibson and his girlfriend, Oksana Grigorieva, have announced that they are expecting a child.

It is believed that Grigorieva, 39, a Russian singer, is in her second trimester of pregnancy. This will be her second baby, she already has a child with Timothy Dalton.

Mel’s wife, Robyn, filed for divorce on April 13 from the actor. The 53-year-old actor has told the news to his estranged wife and their seven children.

Apparently Mel told his former wife Robyn Moore that Oksana was pregnant, which is the reason why Moore filed for divorce after being married to Mel for 28 years.

Mel Gibson, who claims to be a devout Catholic has had alcohol problems in the past and now has gotten his girlfriend, who cheated on his wife with pregnant. Some reports are claiming that Gibson plans on marrying Oksana as soon as possible.

For right now, Oksana is living in a house that Mel bought for her.

This will be the eight child for Mel as he has 7 kids with his ex Robyn Moore.

         

Mel Gibson and Russian lover expecting a Baby?

British Tabloid, The Sun, allegedly reveals that Mel Gibson’s wife finally sued for divorce after their 28 year marriage because his Russian lover say’s she is pregnant.

Robyn Gibson, 53, ended the marriage after Oksana Grigorieva told friends she was pregnant with Mel Gibson’s baby.

A source told The Sun: “Robyn put up with Mel for years but when she found out Oksana was telling friends she was expecting it was the last straw.

“Robyn wants a ‘quickie’ divorce, one that isn’t contested, with their assets divided later.”
