Celebrities and Their Families Show Up for Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation’s A Time for Heroes
This past weekend in Los Angeles celebrities and their families came out to support the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation’s at the A Time for Heroes picnic.
The event which was sponsored by Disney, attracted several celebrity families that had fun and raised money for the AIDS foundation. Guests got to go on a safari with Mickey and Minnie Mouse as well as meet other Disney characters. There was also face painting for the kids and a drum decorating station.
The annual event was expected to raise more than $1.5 million to help with pediatric AIDS and HIV awareness and prevention.
Some of the celebrity families which showed their support by attending the event included:
- Mark Paul Gosselaar and his kids Michael, 6, and Ava,4
- Laila Ali with her son Curtis Jr, 1
- Nigel Barker, his wife Cristen Barker and their kids Jack, 4, and Jasmine, 1
- Candace Cameron Bure, husband Valeri Bure and kids Natasha, 11, Lev, 10, and Maksim, 8
- Joely Fisher with her kids Skylar, 9 and True Harlow, 4
- Cheryl Hines and her daughter Catherine, 5
- Denise Richards and her daughters Sam, 6, and Lola, 5
- Sharon Stone and her kids Roan, 9, Laird, 6, and Quinn, 4
- Ali Landry and her daughter Estela, almost 3
- Wayne Brady and his daughter Maile, 7
