Alicia Keys: “I Can’t Wait to Become a Mom”
Singer Alicia Keys talks about how excited she is about becoming a first time mom.
In an interview with the Daily Mirror, Keys dishes on her pregnancy and how much she is looking forward to starting her family.
“I cant wait to become a mom,” Alicia gushed. “No question. It’s the most beautiful gift in the world. Truly a gift from God”. She also spoke of her feelings for her own mother. “I have an amazing mother – she is a best friend to me. And I would like to be the same to my child.”
Keys also announced that she was engaged to her boyfriend Swizz Beatz, who has two children from a previous relationship. Swizz Beatz, whose real name is Kasseem Dean says, “Everyone says we will make a great family.”
Keys says that she has become even more aware of becoming a mother since her trip to South Africa to perform at the World Cup Kick Off concert. She says that the most memorable part of her trip was visiting the children and the orphanages in South Africa.
