Julianna Margulies Reveals Son Was a “Total Surprise”

Actress Julianna Margulies is featured on the latest issue of W magazine and opens up about motherhood and her 2 year old son Kieran.

For Julianna, her son was a “total surprise.” She confesses, ‘I was never much of a kid person. I mean, I thought they were cute to look at but I didn’t want them in my house.”

All that changed approximately 3 years ago when the actress found out she was pregnant. Her and her husband Keith Lieberthal decided to step up to the challenge. She says they decided to “roll with it.”

Now that her son Kieran is 2 years old she says, “I know this is going to sound corny, but I love my life. I love my baby, so I love getting to wake up with him. And I have the most amazing job.”

Margulies recently relocated to her native city of New York and couldn’t be happier about raising her son there. She says, “My family is here, my roots are here. I love sharing my kid with my family because I know no one else is going to care the way I do except them.”

Kieran is the only child for Julianna and her husband Keith.
