Jenny Platt and Rupert Hill Welcome a Daughter
The ex-Coronation Streets stars have become first time parents to a little girl.
Jenny Platt and Rupert Hill who used to play Violet Wilson and Jamie Baldwin on the soap welcomed a daughter on Sunday, April 11. Matilda Hill weighed in at 7lbs 10 oz.
A friend of the couple told The Sun newspaper, “Rupert and Jenny are absolutely thrilled. They couldn’t be happier with their bouncing baby girl. The baby was two weeks overdue and they were so pleased to finally meet her. Rupert is over the moon and both mother and baby are doing well.”
Hill also announced the arrival of his daughter on his Twitter page, writing, “Today I am a father.” Yesterday he also wrote, “My daughter is called Matilda. I wish I could show you a pic, but these walls have eyes. Jen is fine too.”
This is the first child for Jenny and Rupert.
