Joe Don Rooney from Rascal Flatts Expecting Second Child with Wife Tiffany Fallon

Joe Don Rooney and his wife Tiffany Fallon announced that they are expecting their second child in September.

The couple are already parents to 21 month-old Jagger Donovan and now they will be expanding their family this fall. Rooney says, “We’re a little more prepared but the same excitement is there. There’s such fulfillment in being a father and it’s going to be two-fold now, which is so cool.”

Tiffany spilled the news about being pregnant to Joe Don at the very same hotel in Las Angeles where she revealed she was pregnant with their first child. Rooney noted, “It was late January and we were out by the pool chilling and she said, ‘I have something to show you,’ and she opened her purse and pulled out the stick with the positive sign.” He adds, “I was like ‘Wow! We’re going to have to stop coming to this hotel. We’ll have 16 of these things before long!’ But life just couldn’t get better.”

Don says that they will be finding out the sex of the baby since “Tiff’s all about decorating rooms, so she’s got to know. She’s got to prepare the nest.” Don does say that he suspects it’s a girl while Tiffany is thinking it’s a boy.

Although Don will be on tour with Rascal Flatts this summer and fall he says that he will definitely be there for the birth of his child. “I’ll be on tour this September and the Rascal Flatts machine is not stopping for anybody,” he says. “But I have to be there. I’ll rent a jet or something if I have to!”
