NASCAR Driver Matt Kenseth and Wife Are Expecting a Baby
Matt Kenseth and his wife Katie are expecting their first child together in July.
The Daytona 500 winner is soon to be a new daddy as his wife Katie is due to give birth to the couple’s first child next month. Matt and his wife have chosen to have a surprise delivery as he says “We’ll find out when you guys do, I guess. Actually, I hope I’ll know a little while before you guys do.”
He went on to say this about the surprise delivery, “There aren’t many surprises left in life, so we’re going to wait to find out. We talked about it [and] we don’t really want to find out. Neither of us really cares if it’s a girl or a boy. If it’s healthy, that’s all we really care about.”
Matt is hoping that the baby decides to come on a Monday and not on a race day, as he is yet to line up a relief driver.
Matt and his wife have been married for almost 9 years. This baby will join Matt’s 16-year-old son from a previous relationship.
