Padma Lakshmi Welcomes a Daughter

The Top Chef host gave birth to a baby girl on Saturday, February 20.
According to a rep for Padma Lakshmi, the former model named her daughter Krishna Thea Lakshmi. Her rep also added, “Mother and baby are well and happy.”
Padma announced her pregnancy last October. She revealed that she considers this her “miracle baby” as she has suffered from endometriosis and never thought she would be able to have a successful pregnancy.
Lakshmi has also chosen to keep the identity of her daughter’s father a secret. There are several different rumors circulating about who the possible father is but nothing has been confirmed by Padma.
Krishna is the first child for Padma.
