Actress Lucy Davis Ready to Start a Family

Lucy Davis has changed her plans and now reveals that she is now considering trying to conceive a baby with her husband Owain Yeoman.

Although she is set to star in a new ITV1 comedy series called Married Single Other, there is still something missing in Lucy Davis’ life. She revealed, “I would hate to turn around in 30 years and say, ‘Oops, I may be a film star, but where are the kids?’ ”

Davis, 37, who is best known for her role as Dawn Tinsley in The Office, wed Owain back in 2006. Before meeting Owain, Lucy says that she never thought she would settle down and now she is married and looking forward to starting a family.

Lucy also revealed that her new character Lillie, who is a single mother is the only character she has played that has been like her in real life. “She’s the character most like me of anyone I’ve played. I like her flippant attitude to life and the fact she doesn’t obsess over things that can’t be changed. She’s a glass is half full kind of person, and I think I’m like that.

She added, “Lillie doesn’t want to get married and I used to think marriage was not for me either. I was always happy when other people wanted to get married, but I couldn’t see it happening for me at all. I was really happy with that, so I was never looking.”
