Heidi Klum Launches Two Maternity Lines
The mom of four Heidi Klum is putting her own pregnancy style to good use as she will launch two different maternity lines next month.
Heidi Klum can add another job to her resume as a fashion designer. The Project Runway host announced that she will be launching two lines of maternity clothes for A Pea in the Pod and Motherhood Maternity.
Lavish by Heidi Klum will be featured at A Pea in the Pod stores. This line will feature higher priced clothing such as the black maxi dress, which Heidi can be seen modeling in pictures for the line. The tighter fitting black maxi dress will retail for $128. Lavish will have a total of 15 pieces right now that are of “iconic style and seamless fit.”
On the other hand, Loved by Heidi Klum will be featured at Motherhood Maternity stores, which others more affordable maternity clothing. This line will have 14 pieces with such things as a flower print top ($40) and blue-button down tunic ($30).
Heidi says that she used her own pregnancies and her style to develop the lines. In a statement about the maternity lines, she says, “I experienced fashion challenges during my four pregnancies and combined my knowledge of what works in terms of style, comfort and practicality to create these lines.”
She added, “Being pregnant shouldn’t stop you from being fashionable and feeling great about your changing body. It’s an exciting journey.”
Heidi follows in the footsteps of Nicole Richie, who also launched her own maternity line for A Pea in the Pod in August of last year.
