Boris Becker: Daughter Anna Was Conceived “On the Stairs” at Nobu

The former tennis champion has revealed that his 9-year-ol daughter Anna was not conceived in the broom cupboard, but was on the stairs of Nobu restaurant in London.

Boris Becker’s affair with model Angela Ermakova, which produced his 9-year-old daughter Anna, actually cost him his marriage to his wife at the time. He said that it lasted all of “five seconds” but something that he will never forget.

Becker talks to Piers Morgan for ITV’s Lifestories which will air on Saturday about the affair. He told him, “I don’t know if a bathroom is a better place but it actually happened on the stairs between the bathrooms so there was no broom cupboard.”

He added, “I felt very guilty, ashamed. It was my last day of tennis, now I’ve cheated on my wife.” He blames the “loneliness” that he felt after announcing he was done with tennis. He said that it was supposed to be a night out with his friend, but they all cancelled on him, leaving him “about to lose his mind.”

Although at first, he didn’t believe that Anna was his daughter, he says, “I live and learn. It cost my marriage, it cost for the next couple of years my private life but having Anna is not a mistake anymore. I have a beautiful daughter. I love her very much.”

Becker also revealed that it took him 3 years before he could ever go back to Nobu. “I went back and I said “How the hell did I do that?” It’s impossible. It was one of those moments that happened in a fluke.”

Boris is currently expecting his fourth child with his current wife model Sharley Kerssenberg.
