BBC’s Zoe Ball reveals she’s pregnant live on BBC Radio 2
BBC presenter Zoe Ball has announced on her weekend breakfast show that she is expecting her second child with her husband, DJ Norman Cook.
History: After a spell in children’s TV, Zoe Ball was recruited to co-host the BBC Radio 1 breakfast show in October 1997 with Kevin Greening.
She eventually turned solo host before leaving the BBC in 2000.
Since 2006, Ball has provided stand in relief at Radio 2 and was announced as the presenter of the weekend breakfast show on 6 June.
Zoe Ball, 38, told listeners: “I’ve got some lovely news for you all actually. I’m having a baby.”
The former Radio 1 DJ added that she had been, “eating everything in sight.”
Ball married Cook in 1999 and they have an eight-year-old son, Woody.
