Caroline Rhea Introduces Her Daughter on “Live With Regis and Kelly”

Comedian and actress Caroline Rhea introduces her daughter Ava to the world on the ‘Live With Regis and Kelly” show.

Caroline Rhea decided to take her guest appearance on the Regis and Kelly show as an opportunity to introduce everybody to her 4 month old daughter, Ave Rhea Economopoulos. Ava was brought out briefly by her dad and Caroline’s husband, Costaki Econompolous.

Caroline and Kelly agreed that Ava looks more like Costaki but definitely has Caroline’s skin tone. Caroline joked that “at first we thought she had this beautiful Greek coloring, but it was just jaundice.” She went on to add “Everyone thought, ‘Oh my God, she looks like Costaki!’ And then when her cheeks filled out and she got a little fat, they said, ‘Oh she does look like you.’”

Rhea also joked about how her comic routine has changed now that she has a baby. She has already worked jokes about motherhood and babies into her routine. She even came up with a knock knock joke that all new parents can relate to:

“Knock-knock. Who’s there? I don’t care who, as long as you wash your hands when you come in the room.”

Ava is the first child for both Caroline and her husband.
