Baby’s life saved by Big Brother couple Lisa & Mario

Lisa Appleton and Mario Marconi of Big Brother fame heroically saved the life of an unborn baby.

The health and fame obsessed couple came to the rescue of a pregnant woman when the unidentified female and her boyfriend were being attacked by a six strong gang with knives.

Quick to cash-in on this the couple have released a self-defence DVD.

“We have saved lives and Mario and Lisa now we want to save a lot more. If only we could actually fly we would be unstoppable.”

Describing the rescue to the Daily Star, Lisa said: “We were at home in getting ready for bed when we heard this awful scream outside.

“We looked out of the window and saw about six men with knives hitting and kicking this young couple.

“They were kicking the pregnant girl in the head so we ran straight out and got stuck in.

“We managed to break up the fight and bring them inside.

“Afterwards they were both saying how they voted for us on Big Brother and how they were massive fans.”

The thugs were later picked up by police thanks to Lisa and Mario’s speedy actions. Lisa, who was a bouncer for six years, added: “I have no doubt in my mind we saved one life if not three.

“It just showed us what we are capable of so now we want to help other people and we think our DVD could do it.

“It combines getting fit with self-defence.

It’s a complete health and safety work-out which is our motto.

“Mario and I are now on a crusade. We have first-hand experience of Britain’s knife crime so we want to use our celebrity status to help people.

“We also want to stop obesity and get teenagers off the computer and into sports.
