Free Care And Home Offer For Octuplets Turned Down
Octuplet mom Nadya Suleman has rejected free, 24-hour care for her 14 children from a nonprofit nurses’ group.
The offer, which expired at midnight on Thursday, also included a new home.
Angels in Waiting, who specialize in the care of premature babies, made the offer two weeks ago. It would of relied on public donations to help support the infants.
The group, who are represented by Attorney Gloria Allred, said that Ms. Suleman seemed to be more interested in appearing in a reality show.
Founder, Linda West-Conforti, said that they would not agree to that as they were concerned that the babies immunity would be at risk.
Suleman has been in the press this week talking about her concerns that her babies would not be released due to speculations that she would not be able to provide adequate support.
It has also been revealed that the house she has been living in with her parents is now in danger of foreclosure.
The hospital have said that all eight babies are doing well, and are feeding well.

I must say that I must agree with the nurses and say that a reality show would harm the immuntiy of the children but having a new nurse every day will also do the same. I have read that she would have a nurse for each baby? Is this correct? I don’t think that is necessary, but whatever, to each his own. I would also like to add that on Dr Phil it was commented that you need a liscense to drive around 14 kids around I would like to know if that is true and if so how do day cares get a away with it? I have a 7 year old who was born 16 weeks premature and he was on a vent via trach and I didnt have a nurse 24-7 for him. I was on my own with 2 other children. He still has the trach but I have weened him off the vent, I gave up a lot of my time to care for him but it was worth it. It does appear to me that this mom is looking for the easy way out, and having someone else take care of her and her children whom she choose to birth, IT wasnt an accident and she knew for many months she was having multiple children. Maybe these things should have been worked on prior to birth. I love organizations that help others and wish you all the best but I think she is taking advantage of the situation and the children will in the long run suffer. I would also like to hear about the 6 other children she has, where are they, how are they, WHO WILL HELP THEM!!!!!!!!!!!
