Sarah Parish is known for TV series work such as: Peak Practice, Hearts and Bones, Cutting It, Doctor Who and Mistresses.
The Mistresses star has announced she is pregnant with her second child after dealing with losing her daughter at 8 months old.
Sarah Parish lost her first child Ella-Jayne when she was only 8 months pregnant. Although nothing will ever replace Ella-Jayne, Sarah does have a reason to be joyful again. She is expecting another child next year.
An inside source told the Sunday Mirror, “Sarah’s thrilled to be pregnant and wants to make sure she does everything in her power to deliver a happy, healthy baby.” The filming of the next series of Mistresses has been delayed to let Sarah have a stress-free pregnancy.
Sarah’s first child, Ella-Jayne was born 5 weeks premature after she was diagnosed with a hole in her heart. She underwent two emergency surgeries and spent 4 months in the neonatal intensive care. Sarah was able to come home for her last few weeks and spend time with her parents.
Sarah recently spoke about her daughter and dealing with her being sick and her death. She said, “It is terrifying when you have a baby and she is taken away ill. You were expecting cards and balloons and suddenly you are dropped into a nightmare.”
A rep for Sarah and her husband James Murray released this statement for the couple, “Sarah and James are delighted to be able to let you know that they are expecting a baby early in the New Year. I hope you will understand their desire to keep any further details private until after the birth.”
