Sarah Jessica Parker Expecting Twin Girls Via Surrogate

Sarah Jessica Parker and her husband Matthew Broderick are going to be parents again later this summer via a surrogate mother.

Access Hollywood has confirmed that the star of Sex and The City, Sarah Jessica Parker and her husband, actor Matthew Broderick are expecting twin girls that are being born via a surrogate mother. The girls are due later in the summer.

A rep for the couple says, “”The entire family is overjoyed.”

The twins will be the second and third children for the couple. They have a son, James Wilkie Broderick, who is 6 years old. The couple was married back in 1997.

Parker, 44, will be filming the Sex and The City 2 movie this summer, which is slated for release in May 2010. Even though Sarah Jessica will be welcoming babies in real life, she doesn’t think that her character Carrie will be. She told MTV news, “It doesn’t seem as if that’s going to be a choice she’ll make. I don’t know, ” when asked about Carrie becoming a mom in the sequel.
