Brangelina set their sights for adoption on Phillipines
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, (Brangelina) have targeted the Philippines for their next adoption after having experienced difficulty in adopting a Burmese baby.
Angelina has taken time off from her latest film, “Salt”, to journey to Manila with the intention of adding to her family.
Ninoy Aquino International Airport heralded the arrival of the Brangelina private jet last week, then returned to New York on Monday evening.
A source told the Daily Mail: “Brad and Ange flew out together. They want to add to their family and tried to adopt from Burma but the authorities are very strict, so they decided to look at the Philippines.”

I assume that Brad and Angelina are just going to look around in the Philippines. They won’t be expecting to bring a child home straight away (I hope). The Philippines have very strict guidelines around adoption including age difference between newly adopted and existing children, how long a couple have been married. The average time it takes to adopt a child, assuming everything is in order is about 2-3 years. I would hope they are not “fast tracked” simply because they have money and are famous.
