NASCAR Champion Jimmie Johnson and Wife Welcome a Daughter
NASCAR champion Jimmie Johnson and his wife Chandra have something besides race car driving to celebrate as they welcomed their daughter last week.
The couple welcomed their first daughter Genevieve Marie on July 7 at 1:44 p.m. in North Carolina. Genevieve weighed in at 6lbs 14oz and 19.5 inches long. The proud father revealed the news on his official website.
Johnson didn’t let his daughter’s arrival stop him from racing though. He traveled to Chicago a few short days after she was born and placed 25th in the race.
