Singer Mariah Carey Denies Pregnancy Rumors Again

Ever since marrying her husband Nick Cannon almost 2 years ago Mariah Carey is constantly shooting down rumors that she is expecting a baby.

After pictures of Mariah, 40, surfaced with her looking a little rounder than usual, the pregnancy rumors started again that the she and Nick were expecting their first child. A rep for Mariah has spoken telling US Weekly that the singer is “not pregnant.”

Carey is known for fluctuating in her weight which may bring on all the pregnancy rumors. Another reason for all the pregnancy rumors may be that the couple openly talks about trying for a child sometime soon. Nick even told MTV News just in January, “We absolutely plan to have a family. But we gotta prioritize, because that’s a major, major priority. We wanna make sure everything is out of the way and that we don’t have any distractions.”

The couple will be celebrating their second wedding anniversary this week by renewing their vows. Cannon says, “We get married every year! That’s our thing. That’s what we’ll be doing on the actual [anniversary]… We’ll do something, a party or event, just to celebrate.”
