Sheryl Crow is Raising Her Son to be Eco-Friendly
Sheryl Crow has been busy promoting World Water Day and talking about water conservation but she always makes sure that she is teaching her 2-year-old son Wyatt how to be eco-friendly and practices what she preaches.
The singer explained that she was taught at a very young age about having a responsibility to keep the earth clean and do her part, which is why she is passing this on to her son, even at 2 years old.
She says, “I was raised with this idea that you leave the campground better than how you found it. We were brought up to shut off the water when we were brushing our teeth, only ran the dishwasher when it was stuffed, never took 45-minute showers. I have a little boy now, so my concern is what kind of planet are we leaving.”
Crow also reveals that her son is already doing his part. She notes, “My little boy is worried about flushing the toilet - we’re already starting, at 2-and-a-half. He already knows not to flush the toilet unless, you know, you have to.”
Wyatt is the only child for Sheryl who adopted her son when he was born.
