Actor James Van Der Beek and Girlfriend Expecting a Baby
The former Dawson’s Creek actor James Van Der Beek announced that his girlfriend Kimberly Brook is pregnant with the couple’s first child.
Only a week after reaching a divorce settlement with his ex-wife, Van Der Beek announces that he is going to be a father. James wrote on Twitter, “Yes, it’s true—the woman I love and I are expecting our first child…currently experiencing joy on levels I never knew existed.”
Kimberly aslo confirmed the news but the couple did not reveal when the baby was due.
The couple has been dating since last summer after James filed from divorce from his wife Heather McComb. A friend of the actor says that James and his ex-wife are still on “good terms.” The friend adds, “The three of them have all hung out together. James and Kim are superhappy about the baby. They are above and beyond thrilled. They are the happiest couple ever.”
This will be the first child for both James and Kimberly.
