Actress Natalie Cassidy Pregnant with First Child

The former EastEnders actress announced that she is currently 12 weeks pregnant.

Natalie and her boyfriend Adam Cottrell are thrilled by the news even though the couple only started dating last summer and haven’t really gone public with their relationship. “e haven’t really gone public with our relationship, so I guess this will seem a bit sudden to some people,’ she told OK magazine. “ut it was a whirlwind romance for us too, I guess. e feel like we’ve known each other for ever.”

Natalie, who has battled with her weight for many years, is trying to balance her cravings with sensible eating. She says, “I can’t get enough of chicken, mayonnaise and sweetcorn sandwiches! ut I’ve been eating healthily - I’ve not been noshing down four cream cakes in one sitting and claiming I’m eating for two.”

She adds, “My midwife says if you eat for six people you’ll end up looking like six people. ou really don’t need to eat that much more when you’re pregnant - even at eight months you only need an extra 300 calories a day.”

Natalie also reveals that she suffers from polycystic ovaries and was concerned about being able to conceive children. She revealed, “I wanted children so much, it was a worry. I came off my contraception in November but I never thought I’d get pregnant that quickly!”

This will be the first child for Natalie and her boyfriend Adam.
