Robin Thicke and Paula Patton to Welcome a Boy Next Year

The singer Robin Thicke announced that he and his wife Paula Patton know the sex of their baby now and are even sharing a name with everybody.

When the couple first announced the pregnancy they stated that they would find out the sex of the baby and now they are sharing this with the whole world. Paula and Robin will be welcoming a boy in a few months who they will name Julian.

In an interview with Essence, Robin talks about his future son and impending fatherhood.

He said, “I’m afraid of not being patient enough, but most of the time that’s when I’m scared or worried about the future. I want to work on that. But my biggest fear is being able to be there, because I don’t know if kids ever think their parents were there enough.”

Robin stated that he was ready for the work that lay ahead for him. “You can’t have the amazing joy a child brings without work,” he notes, “like you can’t have a great woman or man unless you put in work.”

Robins says that he is most looking forward to teaching him son things. He said, “Teaching him how to respect a woman. Teaching him music. Getting to play him Biggie Smalls at some age, we’ll experience that together…that’s the beauty of having a child.”

Paula is due in May. This will be the first child for Robin Thicke and Paula Patton.
