EastEnders’ Jo Joyner Expecting Twins
The actress who plays Tanya Branning on the sopa has revealed that she is pregnant with twins.
Writers for EastEnders are getting down to business and are rewriting the story line for Jo Joyner’s character Tanya Branning. The actress just recently announced that she is expecting twins at the end of the year.
The actress said that she and her actor husband Neil Madden are “absolutely delighted” about becoming parents for the first time.
A source told The Sun, “‘Everyone is thrilled for Jo. Because it’s twins, she’s already got a bit of a bump so viewers can expect lots of big bags and cushions in her scenes over the coming months.”
Jo joined Eastenders back in 2006 from the medical drama No Angels and quickly became one of the most popular characters on the show.
This will be the first children for both Jo and her husband. No word on the sex of the babies yet.
