An Israeli woman has given birth to her 18th child in 21 years, and is already planning her 19th.

The woman, who is in her mid-40’s, has 12 boys and 6 girls with her husband. She has been pregnant for a total of 14 years of her life.

The couple gave birth to their most recent child on Wednesday: ‘I cannot say I was as moved as I was with the first child, but each baby brings with it its own excitement and blessing, ‘ she said.

Their most recent delivery arrived just one week after their eldest child turned 21-year-old. All of the children have been born at Kaplan hospital in Rehovot.

She added: ‘I feel part of the staff.’

The couple are ultra-Orthodox, and regard birth control as a sin.

I would like to add my own compliments to Kaplan Hospital .
My daughter Chani gave birth to her third child this past Shabbat at Kaplan Hospital, and it was thank G-d a wonderful experience. When we arrived the Security Staff was so nice and understanding ,re our Sabbath observance and helped us deal with our car . Later on the admitance to the labor room was efficient and plaesant, thanks to Judy.
The midwife Iris was wonderful and very knowledgable. And above all Dr, Roni Levi Head of the Delivery room has the presence to deal with the most difficult moments with an ease that managed to keep the mother relaxed and cooperating.
    Thank you to all
