Country Singer Josh Turner Welcomes Son Colby Lynch

Country crooner Josh Turner and his wife Jennifer are parents for the second time as they welcome their son Colby Lynch.

According to a rep for the singer, Turner’s wife Jennifer gave birth to the couple’s second child on June 26th.

Josh says, “I’m just a proud daddy right now.”

The couple also has a 2-year old son named Hampton Otis, who seems to be adapting well as a big brother. According to Josh, “Hampton loves being a big brother and we’re just one big happy family.”

Josh, who just finished recording his fourth album was hoping all along that his son would wait to make his debut until after the album was completely finished. Josh joked, “My producer, Frank Rogers, jokingly told Jennifer that she needed to wait until we finished my record before she had the baby.”

Colby didn’t wait long though, it was only a few hours after Josh left the studio that Jennifer went into labor.

“We finished the album last Thursday at 6:00 p.m. After I got home, Jennifer went into labor and we were at the hospital by 10:30 that night. Now that’s what I call perfect timing.”

Josh and Jennifer have been married since 2003 and announced the pregnancy back in February.
