12 Year Old Girl Is Pregnant After Being Allowed To Sleep With Boyfriend
A 12 year old girl, who was allowed to share a bed with her 15 year old boyfriend is due to give birth and become one of Australia’s youngest moms.
After her mother allowed her to share a bed with her boyfriend since the age of 11, a 12 year old girl has fallen pregnant and is due to give birth later this year. This was even after the girl’s father complained to authorities about the situation and they failed to do anything about it. Police claim that they could do nothing since both of the children were under the age of consent.
Her father took custody of her in March, he discovered that his daughter was pregnant.
The NSW department of Community Services has admitted that the failed on this case because they had other urgent cases that needed to be taken care of.
It appears now that after the baby is born the girl’s father and his partner will be raising the child. The girl’s mother was placed in a mental health facility and the 12 year old remains with her father.
The 12 year old girl is no being offered counseling, parentig advice and will continue to receive help after her baby is born later this year.
