Candace Parker gives birth to a Baby Girl
Candace Parker, the Los Angeles Sparks star and husband Shelden Williams, of the Minnesota Timberwolves, welcome into the world, a baby girl. It’s the fist child for the couple.
Their Sports Management company announced that the baby girl was born in Los Angeles on Wednesday, weighing 7 pounds, 6 ounces and was 20 inches long.
Parker said in a release: “Shelden and I are thrilled,”
“This is such a life changing moment for us, we feel blessed to have a healthy and beautiful baby girl.”
Candace Parker was on the U.S. team that won a gold medal at the Beijing Olympics.
The WNBA, (Women’s National Basketball Association) season begins June 6th when Parker plans to rejoin the Sparks provided she gets approval from a health professional.
