Tennis player and daddy-to-be, Roger Federer has “no clue” on what to name his baby.
Roger Federer and his new wife Mirka are having a tough time picking out a baby name for their little one on the way. At a press conference in Monte Carlo, Federer admitted that when it comes to a name for the baby “we haven’t decided anything yet. I have no clue right now myself. Thank God we have time left to decide.”
Having recently gotten married just a week ago, Federer says that it was not totally unplanned.
“We’ve been talking about it for many years now,” Federer said. “Basically 95% of the people we invited could come, so they changed their schedules around for us. Everything really worked out really well for us, otherwise we would have waited and done it maybe one month down the road, or maybe one year down the road. But everything worked out for this last weekend.”
This will be the first baby for both Roger and Mirka. They baby is due sometime this summer.

Tennis player Roger Federer announced on Thursday that he and his girlfriend Mirka Vavrinec are expecting their first child in the summer.
“I always had the dream that if I have a child I hope I have it early enough so he can see me playing,” said the Swiss champion.
Federer said that he did not think that his game would suffer from the new arrival, and believes that having a child will provide more motivation to play well.
“For me, this is not a massive shock, but when it does happen, it definitely changes your mindset. All of a sudden you’re hoping everything goes well, whereas before you’re just joking about it. From this respect, I’m excited that the baby comes out healthy and everything goes OK. Other than that, it’s just happiness.”
