Ioan Gruffudd and Alice Evans Are Expecting Their First Child

Actress Alice Evans and her husband actor Ioan Gruffudd are expecting a baby later this year.

Ioan Gruffudd confirmed that his wife Alice Evans is pregnant with their first child. The couple met back in 2002 while filming 101 Dalmatians and wed in 2007.

Ioan is best known for his role in Fantastic Four, and playing Horatio Hornblower in Horatio, which was the British made-for-TV films based on C.S. Forester’s novels.  He will star next in Fireflies in the Garden with Julia Roberts, which is set to premiere in June.

No word on what Alice’s due date is.

Julia Roberts Gives Kate Garraway Pregnancy Tips

Actress Julia Roberts share some advice with the pregnant Kate Garraway.

Kate Garraway is set to give birth later this summer and was able to receive some pregnancy tips from actress Julia Roberts. Apparently, Julia told her to not ask about the baby’s sex at Kate’s next prenatal visit. Kate said that Julia, ”said it’s better to wait and that if you know what it is before it’s born, you jump to conclusions about what the baby will look like and be like when, in fact, you still have no idea.”

Kate revealed that she took the advice from Julia but is yet to reveal if she actually used it.

One thing that Kate most likely will not be following from Julia is taking a rest after she has this baby. Julia Roberts took several years off from acting after she had her children. Unlike Kate Garraway who remained working right up to the day she gave birth to her first child.

         

Julia Roberts Explains Her Twins’ Names

Actress Julie Roberts offers an explanation on picking the name of her twins.

When Julia Roberts named her twins Hazel and Phinnaeus (now 4 years old) many people wondered exactly where she got the names from. Roberts recently some insight on the names of her twins.

She told David Letterman that, “Hazel is an old-fashioned name, and she’s a strong, perfect Hazel.” Then on her appearance on Live With Regis and Kelly, she said this about Phinnaeus, “my husband wanted to name him Finn, which I quite liked, but it seemed like a nickname…So I said we had to have a proper name, and then we can call him Finn.”

Julia also has a 21 month old son named Henry Daniel and says that her and her husband, Danny Moder, have no plans on expanding the family anymore.
