David Boreanaz Welcomes a Daughter

The Bones star and his wife Jaime Bergman welcomed a daughter into their family on August 31st.

David Boreanaz welcomed his second child, a girl, who him and his wife named Bardot Vita Boreanaz. She weighed in at 7lbs 14 oz. She joins big brother Jaden Rayne, 7, at home.

The actor had been staying close to home since his wife was on bed rest and could go into labor at any time.

“I must maintain a 20-mile radius. I cannot travel beyond that,” he PEOPLE recently. “If I do, I’ll freak out — I have to be there when the baby comes.”

The couple announced the pregnancy in March and revealed that it was a girl in July.

David Boreanaz is Expecting Second Child

Actor David Boreanaz and his wife, Jaime Bergman are expecting their second child.

Bones star, David Boreanaz let it slip out on the Live With Regis and Kelly show that his wife is pregnant with their second child. He was trying to explain that he was talking to his son Jaden Rayne about the “birds and the bees” and asked his 6-year old son, “You’re aware that mommy and daddy are having a new baby?” That is when Kelly interjected, a little surprised and asked the actor if his wife was pregnant again. David replied in a joking manner, ““I said that? Oh I did! Yes, I’m having a new baby.”

The actor did not give any details on the sex or due date of the baby.
